My 2020 is on the way but yet to figure out how to transport it, i have a few Thule ProRides but they're weightlimited to 20kgs + I doubt whether the clam mechanism will fit the frame (where the battery is positioned)...

I have a VW Passat variant but also 3 toddlers so not looking forward to always removing the 3 child seats...

Eager to see how you transport the beast!

I don't have a Levo but would work just the same. Clamps to front and rear wheel, so no touchy the paint work

I'll try and get a pic next time I'm out. I use a Thule 951, take out the battery and use motor bike racket straps. Put the rack as close to the edge of the roof rack so don't hurt yourself stretching to much. Put bike into rack. You can the release the clamps that hold it to the roof bars and then slide it into the middle of the roof bars and re clamp. Then use the motorbike straps of the ends of the handle bars to the roof bars, keep the vertical or angles outwards. My front suspension usually compresses to the between 10% and 20% sag marker. Just keep going to the front of the car and looking to make sure the bike is perpendicular to the rack. This is a very secure set up. I have a commencal meta power race, not a light ebike, 23kg with out the battery. This set up works great, stops bike swaying did to side.

Van for the win, No way I would want to lift an E-bike on to the roof of anything!
Towbar rack would be the only other otion to consider.

Just ordered this roof rack carrier, it has a max load of 23kg ?. Don't mind lifting it on top of the car as it's gives me a chance to some weight training?

Did post on another thread here. Quick recap...after 30 years of procrastination due to cost, got a receiver (trailer hitch?) on car. Best rack I’ve found, in my opinion, is by 1Up in U.S. Best cycling investment I’ve made. Incredibly easy to use, remove and store if you want, and secure as hell for bike. No fussing with wheels, no scratches on car. Have options for add-ons for a 2nd or 3rd bike when your kids grow. The 2” super duty single is what I got. I’ll take photo tomorrow to show it better buts it’s a display stand I bought for a tenner when my local cyclesuk closed down. My bike has a Eddie current 2.8 on it and it’s a tight fit but the benefit is that it doesn’t move when on the go.

Inno tyre hold carrier, max weight 23kg. It a bit tight as it's max wheelbase length is 1200 mm and my bike has a 1224mm. Battery removed to bring it under weight limit.
