Shimano XT M8120 Brake pads

Just wondered about recommendations for replacement pads for Shimano XT M8120 brakes

I've just put some uber bike race matrix pads in my xt 8120, they seem fine to me

Running the finned metal pads myself. I prefer these over the finned resin, much better bite.

I have bought some Galfer Extreme Wet Weather Pads £12-13 a pair.

Tried them yesterday. Good bite even after mud and water. Just as noisy as the OEM Shimano metal compound.

I had these up until recently. After fitting the N04Cs in October and riding regularly in the wet mud the rear was completely worn out but the front was 10% worn.

They are good pads, expensive compared to alternatives but good.

I’ll report back on the Galfer Extreme Wet Weather pads.

Hi how did these pads go? what sort of riding do you do?

I have Galfer purple (ebike) pads on rear on my Levo SLX brakes and they are so good that I put the same on my bikepark Status with XT brakes. In front on I have some EBC pads on Levo ( some organic which are also good) and to Status I put some yellow Swissstop and they seem to work fine. I tried some organic EBC pads on back on Levo last autumn but it didn`t take many rides on wet before there wasn`t any pads left on back
