Thank's Gordon @flashYes, but you'll need some adaptors and possibly cables. Check the Shimano STEPS site for compatibility charts.
If you're looking to upgrade from the 5003 to get BT connection (a few threads here on this) you need the e800 display not the e8000 display and no adaptors are required.

Thank's Gordon
Shimano's compatibility charts are bit too complicate for me. Can you please point me to the specific adapter?
Let say for the sake of the question that i have two bikes - one is e8000(with sc-e8000 wich does have BT connection) and the other one is ep8 with sc-e5003. I want to run the ep8 with the sc-e8000 and vice versa - will both of them work appropriately?
Thanks @mark.ai
For some reason, my compatibility chart looks a bit different, but still - sc-e8000 not included ?
Maybe if I'll wait enough, a new one will pop up
Will it help to know it's a 2018 merida eone sixty 900e?The BT on the E8000 display was also limited. It connects to the *project* app but not the *ride* app. It also wouldn't pass through the information to a Garmin computer. So it makes sense it's being phased out.
As to what connectors it depends on how they wired the bike. The 5003 is swappable with the EM800. No adaptors required. The E8000 is hot swappable with the E70000 display or an EW-EN100 junction box.
You can put an E7000 display or EN100 in place of the 5003 but I don't know how your bikes wired so I can't say what adaptors and cable lengths you'd need. Probably need to drop the motor I suspect.
Looks like a straight swap isn't possible for your case.

Any way, it looks like there isn't a way around buying a new sc-e7000. At least i will be able to keep my sw-e7000L?.
Anyone knows a good online store (with international shipping?)
