I have a Merida e-160. I guess its conceivable that the part I seek is a Merida part but im not convinced, so Im posting here in the hope of the answer !
I need to replace the environment seal/rubber boot thingy that protects the electrics of the derailleur from water ingress around the port that cable attaches...So it fits around the cable end....
Can anyone point me at a source or a part number at all..?

TIA

There is no separate part as far as I know - when the electric wire is plugged into a component then that's it. No separate bits are required to seal the component or protect it from water.

What derailleur is on that E-160?
All Shimano replacement part numbers can be found on Manuals & Technical Documents - just look up your component and open the exploded view (EV).

For example (yeah, I know this is a road FD, but still): Manuals & Technical Documents
