Rail (750Wh) Sell or Upgrade my Rail?

I’ve had my 2022 Rail for a little over a year now but I can’t help but envy some of the new tech and bikes coming out on the market. I’m always one to want to try new bikes but this Rail has really been a great bike and other than perhaps my derailleur there’s not much I would change.

The value of the bike is down probably 50% ish so I’m not trying to flip it to keep money in my pocket.

The new SRAM drivetrain is one thing I would love to upgrade to on this bike since fiddling with gear adjustment is the biggest pain point for me right now - but that comes with a hefty price tag.

Curious what other members thoughts are on this topic.

There is always new bike tech right around the corner.
I'd say get at least another year out of it. It will probably drop 15% in value over the next year.

I can’t imagine having to upgrade a new Rail to where my old Rail (2020) is right now. The only original parts on my old Rail is the frame, motor and battery. Most things have been upgraded or replaced in the past 4 years.

But some of the newer colour of frames are nice 👍🏻.

What size, model, color? How many miles on ODO? I ask because I know someone in MN who would buy it at 50%.

Just ride it, after one year is the worst time to sell as its depreciated the most its going to. Unless you have plenty of money of course then it doesn't really matter...
