Hi all! Question: I own a 2021 Scott Eride 940 with a 500Wh battery. Yesterday I had my first winter trip with an air temperature of -4°C. Today, after fully charging, when I inserted the battery into the bike at room temperature, my computer showed that in eco mode the charge was enough for 46 km, but it was always about 80-90. Has my battery become unusable? I don't understand why this happens?!

The data your bike computer uses for guessing range ist mostly based on your last ride. When that was done at -4°C the computer will simply apply the full battery charge to the old ride data which gives the low estimate.

It is completely normal to see a significant drop in range at low temperatures. Ask any electric car owner.
