Looking for Trek Rail kind of cost-effective full suspension eMTB and the Scott eRide Strike seems to fill the current requirements
Why Strike:
- The ergonomy is a bit more relaxed than in Genius model.
- Availability
- Nice paintjob (this time most important..)
- Bosch Performance CX Gen 4 motor with 625wh battery = Not the newest but quite reliable from my experience
- Bosch Purion is what it is but maybe there's not much need for better integration.
- 140/140mm travel is enough for slow and comfort travelling
- Marzocchi Z2 Air / FOX Float EVOL Performace Trunnion = Quite okay at this pricepoint and maybe self serviceable
- Shimano BR-MT520 4 Piston brakes seem to be also decent
The bike is for my wife for relaxed easygoing touring. I prefer EMTB over normal touring bike as it covers more use cases and the electricity makes rolling resistance of wider tires doable.
Any notes that I should take care of?
The price seems to be around 5300 -5500 euros.
