Scott Contessa Strike 2020 - Fox/Marzocchi Question

Hi guys, we have purchased for my wife an amazing Scott Contessa Strike 910 from 2020, brand new. I still have a Fox 36 160mm laying around and was thinking to replace the Marzocchi with this one. However, at that moment it would be 160-140. Size wize the fork has the exact same length as the marzocchi one. Has anyone removed the 5mm Spacer from the shock? Would that balance the bike a bit out? Or would you recommend getting another air shaft with 150MM of travel for the forks ?

Hey guys, small update. While researching I have found that the difference between a Strike and Genius is the following:

Strike - Travel 140mm / 185x50mm
Genius - Travel 150mm / 185x55mm

Additionally, I have placed both bikes in Photoshop and played a bit with transparency and have found the following. Both geometries are identical, the only difference is the 5MM spacer on the inside, and the strike has a bigger headset spacer. Other than that, they are identical I would have uploaded the GIF but I don't know how haha.

So will do some more digging to see what we will find. BTW, the wife only chose the Strike because of the color
