Nice bike!!! I have the same in L size.
Did you modify the headset to compensate the geometry of the mullet setup?
Did you reprogram the EP8 to adapt it to the mullet? I think that if you don't do it, the engine stops assisting before reaching 25km/h.

I rotated the head angle to steep position to compensate the additional slack created by mullet as suggested in the user manual. No , I didn't adjust the wheel size yet but you can change it on the Display speed, my buddy said he change it to +0.2% and the distance travel is closed now with his garmin. I don't think it really affects much of the speed limit. Also I'm in the US so our speed limit is 20mph or 32kph.

Very interesting!!!
And what about the BB height? how many cm is it with the mullet set up?
Did you tried the mullet set up witout rotating the headset cups?

I'm thinking in a mullet set up with the slack head angle and a 180mm travel fork and short (155mm) cranks. I'm quite tall in a L size (I'm between L and XL) and I'm missing a bit of stability. Cornering is fantastic but I've lost some of the confidence I had on my previous bike (2020 Kenevo) which was a very very long bike and the Scor is maybe too short.

Hi,
many (a few... due to limited product availability) italian owners are complaining about chain rotation on higher 51T cassette, it hurts the triangle.... do you have a similar issue?

What do you mean it hurts the trianlge? I saw couple of pictures scraping the paint in the trianlge on the chain ring side because of the chain ring bolts to close to the triangle frame.

maybe you see tha sames pics?
it could be just a matter of paint... but it's not acceptable from a high quality manufacturer (spin-off from BMC)

Yes, that is the same issue I'm seeing. I don't have issue like that but I replaced my bolts on day 1 when I got my bike. Also I just got this to replace single chainring and mount which no longer have bolts.

Hi Siganberg,
I'm having the same chain stay/chain ring bolt issue to the lateral spring loaded play in the EP8 crank. Can you advise which bolts you switched to? Are they a M8x7mm? Are you still having the issue? I was looking at some Shimano M8X7mm XTR 985 bolts to give an additional 1.5mm of clearance as a temporary fix. Really these bikes need new rear triangles with more clearance and metal inserts.

Also on that E Thirteen E-Spec chain ring. Is there some additional spacer or face plate you needed to use to install that we Shimano EP8 stock crank? It seems much more recessed near the direct mount/long ring area.

Photos below are 1) Wear Area 2) clearance on chainstay with chainring bolt with out leverage 3) clearance on chainstay with chainring bolt with leverage.

Considering this as my first emtb.
Have any new issues popped up since your previous post? Are you generally happy / would you buy again? :)

View attachment 81546 That is a very fine looking whip!! Any issues with the Shimano EP8 or battery? I'm on Bosch Cube Stereo Hybrid 160R and close to getting a new 2022 Scor 4060 Z LT XT in the purple.
