Has anyone tried to run a DC fork on a Bullit? I realize on the SC website it says it's not compatible but I kind of don't buy it. I just emailed them to get more info. Will post what they say here.

Why would you want to? are you thinking a full 200mm upfront?
Won't that massively unbalance a well handling bike?

“In the event of a crash, the impact to the head tube from a dual crown fork would likely smash the headtube. We did not design the carbon layup to take the side impacts from a dual crown fork- The modern DH single crown forks such as the Fox 38 and Rockshox Zeb are Excellent options however, and wont cause any issues.”

Specialized didn't appear to have designed the kenevo headstock to take a dual crown either despite fitting them as stock.
Plenty have dented their frames in crashes.
Don't think I would fancy a dual crown fork smashing into carbon though.
