Sam2 6.9 oval chain ring

Hello all. I’ve got a sam2 6.9 and am very happy with it. Am thinking about upgrading some things. Was wondering if anyone knows anything about using oval chain rings on an EMTB?

Won’t work as the cranks are not fixed to the optimum power point of the ring. Crank and ring can rotate independently.

^ Yep, on an eBike the chainring is connected to the motor drive and not to the right crank arm. They’re independent of each other and the oval chainring will definitely go out of sync in relation to your cranks.
