I agree, is it really that hard to get a high power motor that gives the rider the ability to control every aspect of the motors performance ? It appears that Yamaha has a third? party that has just accomplished exactly that within the confines of certain parameters but Highly customizable. I hope this is going to become a trend with all mainline companies. 😎

I have been attempting to source out a bike offering Sach's motor(since 2019?). All the current offerings from Storck aren't listed as available at present.
Here's a blurb ;
"

The Sachs RS engine with 112 Nm sets new standards in terms of performance and it delivers high torque at 40-60 rpm.

• Motor: Sachs RS, 250 W, 112 Nm, 4 Fahrstufen

• Battery: Sachs RS, 48 V, 725 Wh "

I find it interesting that 48v is slowly finding its way into the marketplace dominated by 36v bikes. The Rocky Mtn. system is 48v as well and it seems that the ones that do exhibit more power? Even Specialized has a 48v system powering their Creo SL Road bike.

Of course the bulk of Chinese imports are 48v, even the cheap ones.
