Levo Gen 2 Rubber stopper in front of frame.

hi guys what is this rubber stopper for? and can I remove it?
I guess is to avoid a full rotation of the steering and damage the shock absorber regulator?
the reason to remove it is I bought a mud fender that is long enough to be installed underneath of the steering column and it will hit that stopper.

In case of an accident. The front wheel could turn really fast and hard. The top of the fork will turn into the frame with a lot of force and potencially damage it. I would never remove this stopper.

Thanks for the reply good point safety first, I will change the Fender type and go for one that hold to the fork.

Mine is size medium and doesn’t contact the frame with the rubber removed. That said I have put a new one on

Where did you get a new one? I broke mine when I crash now I need a need rubber stopper.
