Rocky Mountain bottom bracket.

Am I right to assume the Rocky Mountain eMTBs have a "normal" bottom bracket?

If so, has anyone bought a RM specifically for this reason?

AFAIK this is correct, and it was a strong factor in favour of me considering one. However, supply meant I wasn't able to get the model I wanted and I ended up with a Rise instead!

Yeah, they use a press fit BB92. Mine came with a Race Face one which is still mint after 12,000km.

As mentioned above standard PF 92, the lower priced models have a 24mm spindle dia while the upper tier models use a 30mm. While the BB is standard the ratcheting spider is only compatible with RF Cinch system or you can purchase a Sram version.

I only mention this if your entertaining swapping crank arms as it will become a factor of consideration.
