Met him last week in the Surrey Hills, he's the nicest guy ever! Super funny as well
Run mine on the right as well, it's also a left hand shifter fitted upside down, fits with the other controls better. So down button goes up an assist level, haven't bothered to reprogram it as I like to think of it as a sequential gearbox. Also pisses my mates off when they ride my bike, double win!Only other person I have seen who rides with mode controller on the right like me, though I have got rid of display too - the way they have moved display to other side of bars would bug the hell out of me!
I f*****g love Rob Warner. Never met the man but I did years of paragliding, windsurfing & one or two other dodgy, niche sports that led me to any number of Rob Warners in various iffy spots around the world & I know a man who doesn't give a f**k when I see one & in my experience, they're invariably the best people. Just don't ever lend them money.
Yeah. Mode controller on the right still makes some sense though. Especially if you're used to riding motorcycles. But why has the mechanic placed the controller inboard of the brake lever clamp? ie. miles out of reach when you're actually riding. Rather than between the lock-on collar and the brake lever clamp?Only other person I have seen who rides with mode controller on the right like me, though I have got rid of display too - the way they have moved display to other side of bars would bug the hell out of me!

Well strange placing the display on back to front on the wrong side of the stem all squint AF. WTFs that all about? ?
if you clamp the band more than 10-15mm out from the stem it sits squint, even more so if clamped where the bar bends or tapers.
I know this from trying moving mine around on my first Eeb to fit a light bracket next to the stem and anywhere other than butted up to the stem and the display would be on the piss. Got rid of my display ages ago too.

Rick you seem to have missed the part where I said...
It looks like the mechanic or someone else had another go at it between Gee Milners vid and the official photos - the display has move sides.Yeah.
