Mainly ridden mine in Profile 1 can’t see I would ever need extender! Am 90kg way more range than my e-Sommet with E7000 motor

13 miles yesterday, 1800 feet of climbing, mix of trail and boost, and only used about 45% of the stock battery. The Rise continues to impress me.

32 miles, 6,045' of climbing, (undulating terrain, all climbs were short and steep, very physically demanding ride), Assist - 5, Torque - 42, range extender, used approximately 400 watts of the 612 watt total (extender 252w + bike 360w). My friend rode a Felt with a Shimano e7000 motor, 60nm torque, unrestricted, and he used over 820 watts total (he was riding in higher torque and assist modes).

For the power level I use and the terrain I ride, the 360 watt battery range is equivalent to my former 52lb, 700W, bike with similar assist and torque settings. I was skeptical about the Rise's range when I read the reviews but the range really is equivalent to a full power ebike with double the battery size!

The Rise is the perfect bike for mountain bikers who also ride emtb's.

My longest ride on the Rise to date was 27.5 miles but only 2500ft climbing. Mainly off-road and muddy trails. Came back with 16% battery (Profile 2) using mix of Off/Eco/Trail... All the full-fat bikes came back in a worse position battery-wise...

On flatter sections, I ride in off as it is perfectly rideable and feels like a decent unassisted MTB in that mode.

I've used the extender a few times and think it is a great way to extend the range of uses for the Rise. If you want to ride in boost with full fat bikes, put the extender on. For shorter or slower rides, leave it at home. Best of both worlds really...
