Ride Control Display issues - dead bike. 2021 Trance X E+

My bike quit on me out on the trail today.

The display lit up like this:

The motor won't drive, and it shuts itself off in under a minute.

I was able to get this from the app:

The only button that does anything on the display is the walk button. When I press it the lights displayed changes to this:

I have a fully charged battery. I inspected the display cable for damage and found none. I disconnected and reconnected the display and the connector looks clean.

Any ideas to troubleshoot this? The Giant manual I have doesn't address this light pattern.

Haven’t seen this before but I’d have done the same as you. Looks like you’ll have to go with what the diagnostic is saying and replace the display?

I suppose so. I'm taking it to the dealer so they can work with Giant.

So, I put everything back together and now it's fine. No idea.
