Ride Control app problems (Trance 2022)

So I decided to connect the ride control giant app to my 2022 trance today so I could if nothing else see the battery % reading.

It wouldn't connect to bike unless I did a update which I did.

Where do you go to see battery %?
How do you adjust the assist levels?

Can't seem to find a YouTube vid that's not the older contol system.

Usually after you connect the app to the bike, a swipe back to the previous screen reveals the battery percentage.

As an aside, If you have a Garmin Edge 130 or better, add 'ebike field' to it and it shows the exact % as you ride. This is MUCH better. I have not used the Giant app in months except a couple of times to see the overall mileage done. It's not a good app, although neither are some other brands.

I believe there's a significant upgrade to the app coming soon relating to the 2023 bikes (but it will be retro compatible with 2022 models). It will allow more tuning of the power levels on individual settings (not sure if it includes the ability to adjust torque though). I'll try to find out more details from my source (LBS, Giant dealer).
