Scratched NEW bike frame putting in back of car- nightmare. Would really like to get it back pristine. Any recommendations on best route to go down?

Do your best with touch ups etc. If you don't like it, find a sticker you like and cover it up.

PS: Halfords do a massive range of paints. Check and you might find one that is so close you can't tell. I did on my previous bike a Focus Jam2 in blue. See this:

I had a similar situation with my new Giant (metallic blue and orange) 6 years ago. Nowhere, including Halfords, had any ready mixed touch-up paint anything like the correct colour, and the local body shops I tried were unable to match it without the manufacturer's paint code, which Giant were unable to provide.
I tried to mix some myself, but even if I got a mix which appeared to match, if the light changed so did the appearance of the repair. This is because of the metallic finish. Also with metallics it is essential to match the colours of the various undercoat layers as well, which makes a matching repair impossible.
