Red flashing light on trance e+2

Getting intermittent flashing red light on controller. Bike still gets power with power light on 1.
Thinking its a sensor placement issue. Whereabouts should the magnet be? Is it central to the sensor bar?

There’s a line on the sensor that you center the magnet by. Here is a picture of mine. Got slightly loose the first day I had it, tightened and no issues since

Mines over the round bit that's probably the problem.
