Just changed my chainring from a 34t to a 38t on a EP8 (EP801) but need to replace the chain guide, Has anybody also got 38t ring and can recommend a decent guide? Thanks.

Try it without the chain guide. I took mine off over a year ago and had no problems.
So long as the derailleur clutch is working then it should work ok without it fitted.

Yep! My e13 chain guide kept jamming the chain; once it was removed, I had no further problems and no dropped chain either. :)

Then I sold the e13 guide on eBay and got 60% of the new price!!!!! :ROFLMAO:

I hope you haven't just jinxed each other, But yeah your both probably right as I don't ever remember a chain attempting to skip on any of my previous e-bikes I'll see how it goes.

Recycle the 34T chain guide, simply with 2 M4 screws hazel head and drill 8mm lower, it was easy and fast. The 38T is fantastic at changing the cassette so you don't lose climb ;)
