Recommend handlebar grips?

Hi everyone,
After a couple of minor off’s last weekend I noticed that I have ripped / removed the end of both grips ?
What do people ride / recommend?
Currently running the original Bontrager OE’s however there are so many different manufacturers out there that I thought I would grab a couple of sets in the January sales as I am sure i’ll have to replace them again at some point ?

I'm currently running ODI Rogues but will be switching back to the Absolute Black silicone grips I reviewed as they are easily the most comfortable I've ever used.

The Rogues are quite soft, but pretty big, and if they did them in a smaller diameter I'd probably stick with them.

If you ever suffer from numb hands or pins and needles, give the Ergon GP1 a try. They completely stopped my hand problems.

You might be able to get some used ones on eBay for not much money if you want to experiment on the cheap. Take an Allen key with you on the first few rides as it is important to get the correct angle for each hand (may be different). They will be set up flatter than you would think.

I use my bike for long miles, and whilst the stock grips on my levo were comfy, they are only comfy for so long. I will be getting some of these because I've tried them on my mates bike and loved them. Good for long miles where you'll be sat down much of the ride.

Grips are personal though just like saddles

Grips are personal. But, I use ergonomic grips. Currently the specialised because that's what the shop had. So far so good. The Ergon GP1's look good as well. I know I prefer a larger grip on my tennis racquet so I'd go larger on a bike as well. I threw away the end caps and use some cheap eBay locking alloy end caps so I can store a few cable ties in my bars.

They're very much a personal thing. I'd suggest trying several grips in your lbs to see what fits your hand size and feels nice. Then ask which ones are better. Otherwise you'll get a million responses that might not be suitable for you.

I use odi Rouges, they are quite robust and can take a fair whack and clip trees and I have not lost a end cap yet.

Another recommendation for these. I changed out my OE grips to the GP1s about a year ago and have nothing but positive things to say about them.

I have tried damn near every grip out there. Most are garbage. I was always an ODI Elite Pros fan for years...until I tried the PNW Loam grips. The Loam grips are the best grip I have ever used.

Revgrips pro are the dogs danglies, absolutely no arm pump since I fitted them, not cheap but you get what you pay for I suppose
