I've had one of these for a couple of months. I've done about 170 miles on it so far. Red trails, black off piste, snow, thick mud, jumps, coped admirably with the lot. The geometry is really confidence inspiring. Range wise, I did a hard off road 40 miler in snow and mud and had 20%ish left. I'm really impressed with the whole package and tbh what competition is there at the price. Sx drivetrain, despite all the hate online has been perfectly adequate. Brakes require 2 fingers on steep stuff so might upgrade at some point but for general riding they're fine. The finish and paint on the frame are top quality (red one).
The wheel and tyre combination have been the easiest tubeless setup I've ever done. Tyres went on without tyre levers and they inflated with a normal pump.
The battery is easy to remove for charging or transportation which is handy as the bike ways a ton and is hard to lift onto a bike rack( battery weighs about 4.5 kg
I'm 6ft and bought a large which feels decent. It felt a little short in the top tube at first but it does make it easy to slide your weight back and I soon got used to it. My 14 yr old son who is 5ft6 seems to be fine on it too and had no problem getting it off the ground over jumps and drops.
I've only got a few minor gripes.
The plastic battery cover is rubbish. It doesn't seem to fit very well at all, it has come off twice while riding, it leaks and a bit has snapped off at the clamp.
Bike ships from Paul's Cycles with instruction manuals in German( no English translation that I can find). Very little online that's not in German.
There's no display on the control unit just lights. I've managed to connect a wahoo element bolt and I've also managed to connect the esync app which will tell you battery percentage (not straight forward to connect and required some YouTubing).
Sorry for all the info, this is the first time I've posted on any forum but I've been unable to find much info to the Trailray so I thought I'd put my thoughts forward.
There's a small metal locking plate that holds the battery cover in place . You use the locking plastic nut and slide it up and down to open and close .

You might want to make sure you've slid it down all the way otherwise the cover can come off and or let or let water in .
