Unanswered Random question about mounting gopros

I see a lot of riders wearing their gopro chesty mounts under their riding jerseys, how are the attaching their gopro like that?

Chesty fitted under jersey, hole in jersey to poke the mount adaptor through.

I kinda thought they must be making a hole. I’ll just stick to wearing mines on the outside ?

....and if you use a chesty mount make sure you have an impact pad between it and your chest. I actually use a part of the dog gopro mount which has a good pad on which the quick release buckle is mounted. It is also more stable than the chesty mount due to the size of that pad.

You can clip the J clip through a thin jersey if you dont wanna cut a hole..
