Question for Bafang experts

I have a bike with an M620 motor and recently bought a Luna X1 (second bike) with an M600. The power comes on so smoothly with the 600 but seems full on or off with the M620 and with a 1,000 watts it comes on pretty hard with just a partial peddle stroke.
Is there anything (upgrade, parts or tuning) that can be done to make the M620 behave more like the M600?

This is a good place to start. The M620 is fully programmable it just takes some time to get it right.
