Hi mate thanks for you advice , I have the newairshaft as I increased my travel from 160mm to 170mm I think I will order the push hc97 as price wise it's around the same as the 2.1 not sure weather to try and fit myself yetIts great if you really “push it” on difficult terrain - rock gardens, root gardens, big compressions...
My feeling is that is starts getting better than normal 2.1 only on those occasions.
Then It takes the “spiking” out of hsc, offers better control.
Its Also better on really steep terrain, if i wind up the lsc i get better mid stroke, fork dives less.
On mellow trails/ slow stuff the difference is neglagble.
I use it on 3 froks, love the fact i can just take the whole damper out and pop it in another fork.
Lyrik 29 170 c1 debonair -ransom, levo
Lyrik 29 160 old debonair - levo, nomad
Lyrik 27 180 old debonair+ luftkappe - nomad
...if you dont have the new21 c1 debonair get that first, its the bees knees for €30/€45 with the airshaft. As good as luftkappe now.
Also fresh oil, bushing tightness and good skf seals make a big differance.
