Psyched 2020 Pivot Shuttle owner who's bummed about 500 w battery

Got a good deal on used Pivot. Been loving the ride but bummed the battery can't evolve for this model. Newer Shimano 600 coming out but won't fit in this downtube. Do I really need to carry a second five pound battery on longer days?? Sheesh.

Nice bike! You can always sell it down the line and upgrade to a bike with a bigger battery

I will trade you a BH Atom 6 with a 625 battery and Brose motor straight across....

With the pivot, since it uses the external battery but encases it, the new 630wh external battery and mount would fit, but the cover wouldn't go back on, so I am sure its possible for someone to knock up an alternative cover?
