TLDR: If you would like to see class1 ebikes allowed on mountain bike trails, now is the time to act! Please take 15min and submit your feedback.

You can read the the full document here: Box
Project site: Forest Service
You can give input here: US Forest Service NEPA Projects Home

Guidelines for usable input are:
  • What are the effects of the proposed action on wildlife, plants, water quality, recreation, heritage, social values, or other resources? Are the effects positive or negative?
  • Does the proposed action adequately address the purpose and need for the project?
  • Are there unintended consequences from the proposed action?

No use for me as I live in the UK. But for those in the area, this looks like a once in a generation chance to make a lasting difference for you and those that follow. Once you get one area under use and the sky doesn't fall in, it can be used as an example to get other areas adopted. Get organised, get your mates to take part too. Indifference will not make a difference that you want to see.
