Looks like Shimano motor with 150-180mm travel and a vpp back end. Might be a kenevo rival :)

When you look into, there are so many e-mtb's out there, especially from the lesser known European brands, with many of them very well thought out machines

Having the boutique brands like Pivot and Intense jump on the bandwagon isn’t only going to help silence the haters.
Hopefully the prototype Santa Cruz starts to make an appearance to shit all the Santa Cruz fanboys up who hate on Ebikes

Santa Cruz would have to eat humble pie as they still only recently denied they would even consider it.. i will try find the you tube clip of them distancing themselves from the whole concept

They will swallow those words in a few years at the most... or become an extinct dinossaur in the MTB business. Didn't think they were so blind to the market.

Right now in the US it still seems fashionable to be anti-ebike. Strikes me as luddite thinking but there are perceived access issues here.

I'm excited because at the moment in the US there are not that many ebikes to choose from, or at very best it is hard to chase them down. Looks like it is not legal for UK or European companies to ship them over here too, was trying to look at the Vitus E-Sommet and had to change CRC to UK to even see it on their site.

I like that the Intense can fit a water bottle!

They said they would never use 29" wheels back in 2001....Add Transition to the anti e sentiment also. But it hasn't kept their customers from adding an e system to their bikes....Santa Cruz as well is the preferred platform for the Kranked system.

The tide is rising and it's either swim or sink for those on the holdout trail seeing that as a way to keeping their "core", read trail Nazi, consumers happy. I would predict they will all end up swimming in the end, as always, albeit a few laps back from the field.

Not a lot of word out on the Rocky Mtn. bike but I see them as very innovative in that they actually designed and built their own motor system. That is going the extra mile IMNSHO and hopefully it pays off for them. Initial reports of it's performance are very positive but as it doesn't use one of the big name engines it is slightly below the radar.
