Hey all,

Just wanted to put a post up to share a new product that we've recently launched here in the UK & Europe.

It's a portable repair stand for eBikes, designed for when you're out on the trail and need to fix a puncture or at home carrying out some maintenance.

It's been getting some really good reviews, I probably sound a bit bias but it makes for a great Christmas stocking filler too

I love getting feedback from eBike riders so let me know what you think! (good & bad)

I would have to disagree, they are very unstable. I have no experience of the tripod ones. They look more stable but that's a lot of money to pay simply to stand your bike upside down. I use a polystyrene block wrapped in electrical tape under the end of the handlebars where the motor control components are and a stuff sack over the saddle.

I can't. The motor controls protrude.

I’ve tried most things - tree branches, friends fingers, a lady friends’ chest parts, car bonnets, picnic tables, others peoples bikes, an animal, a chain still attached to a gsxr1000, a garage roof, and many others…

These days, my upside down stand of choice is the ground

What controls are they? Can't you just rotate them on the bars a little so they clear the ground.

Thats what I had to do with the kiox controls.

I have the Kiox controls but if I were to move them they would not be in the optimum position for controlling the bike.

Obviously your preference is your preference but I have found that just rotating them round a little so they don't get damaged when the bike is upside down has had no negative effect on how I use them.

I saw the title and thought, bike stand, stocking filler? How big does this guy think my feet are?

Then I saw it's 2 little tripods. That's quite clever. I just use 2 cushions. It's crap but it works, just about.

For the riding I do I would NEVER fit bar ends. I saw someone go over the handle bars because one of his bar ends got caught up on a branch. They are an accident waiting to happen in wooded areas.

To me this just highlights that most of these systems are not fit for purpose, thats why I went with a spesh, so I can use my emtb like a normal mtb, no need to invent special stuff to fix a problem that shouldn't exist anyway.

I agree. I wanted a Specialised Levo but for the same spec as my Orbea Wild I would have paid almost double and at that time Brose motors were failing left right and centre.

A clever idea, but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on them. Nor would I end up taking them out with me as its just more stuff to carry.
