Good morning all,
Last night I hit a root whilst riding my 1 week old Giant reign E+2, net result is the drive side crank arm bent so badly it has hit the chainstay.
It obviously needs a new arm ( pedal absolutely fine) where do I stand with the chainstay damage as far as warranty goes? It it consequential damage and replaced as such?
The cranks fitted to this seem to be made of chinesium, I have bashed cranks before on many bikes over the years and never bent a crank arm yet.
I even managed to straighten it on the side of a trail with a piece of rock so I could get the remaining 5 miles back to the car.
Regards
Colin
