I have ridden several times with snow and/or temperatures between -5 to 5 degrees Celsius and absolutely no issues. Range was even better than I expected compares to my previous Yeti 160E
Then probably mine was just an outlier or something as I was riding it at lower temperatures too. Will keep an eye on it.

I have a large yeti 160E and the new shuttle LT in large. If you dont look at the numbers (which aren't that far off from each other) they seem similar enough that I would be shocked if anyone noticed. They ride very different, I prefer the yeti but the Shimano 630 battery Is garbage. I can get 4800 feet of climbing in 90% boost on the shuttle and about 3500 ish feet on the yeti. I also just sold the heckler in XL and I liked it the most of the three. battery life was perfect and it rode with the most agility.
Hi. Can you describe how they ride differently and why you prefer the yeti? Thanks.

Those of you that have pulled the trigger on an LT how do you find the sizing? I'm 5'7" 32" inseam. On paper seems the medium might be a tad large. I've seen Loam Wolf's sizing comparison on this bike and wanted to get some real world thoughts as well.

I have one. I’m 6’2” on an XL and I find it bordering on too large. Eddie Masters is 6’ on a medium. I’d go a small if I were you.

5'9" 31" inseam. Just got a Medium. It's feels big getting on it and rolling off, but once settled in the cockpit and rolling technical terrain, it feels good. Slow, flat corners with acceleration at exit, and fast rolling corners require a bit of front weighing, but when the shit gets real, I couldn't imaging being on a small. I can turn it on a dime in an uphill switchback, IF I set my posture right, I'm just not used to riding that technique routinely, only 4-5 rides -- haven't been riding much rake for a while. On aggressive, slower, down hill tech, I wouldn't want to be ANY further out over the f-wheel. OF course this is all highly subjective and personal. Watch-out leaning it against stuff, that front wheel flops to 90 like no bike I've ever seen -- haha. In summary, I didn't expect "the bike part" (not discussing motor unit) to be so good. I rode it day-one, as well as I have my tenured analog (Pivot-Switch), and then add the motor! I'm going to rate it quite highly, but don't have a lot of comparative experience. Wondering how I would ever go back to analog. General, non-brand comment... it's a little trickier to tune suspension for E, in general. The motor gives such dynamic riding range, it's really impossible to tune it to fit all scenarios, but that is true of all suspension. Plush, planted, and supple only happens when you tune it for that speed. I tune it fairly fast and open for slow-tech, and just manage the bronco at speed. :)

What size did you end up with? I’m 68” with a 32” inseam.

Just got my LT xtr. Unfortunately it was delivered with the euro 15 mph tune so i actually used my legs for a week until the dealer sorted it. I like it. The ep8 clunk seems to be muted, perhaps by the frame design that encompasses the motor. It's a smooth ride, not quite as much power as the bosch in the rail but i feel comfortable going a bit quicker than the rail. A bit less twitchy with a light feel to it. The main thing though is the efficiency of the ep8. I can actually use it like a push bike. Yesterday i climbed almost a thousand feet with the motor off, unheard of for me on the rail or my pos levo
Hi there, I have the same bike, bought it last year. Have you done any mods? Problems?

Hi everyone, I'm looking into buying a 2nd hand Shuttle LT 2023. It's had the motor, battery and controller replaced, supposedly due to a recall that was issued from Pivot in Europe.

I would Just like to check with owners here it you know of such recall and have had your bike's drives serviced/replaced as well.

Thanks in advance!

Found a sweet deal on a LT with EP801 at around 5000 euros. My question is, as for me this motor with the latest updates seems a decent one, should I wait for the new one (confirmed to be launched by the end of the month) with the new Bosch engine ? Will be a lot more expensive for sure but still, would it worth the wait ? for me the only thing I like at the new CX gen 5 is the rattle free .

I did my choise between LT and Bullit (didn't want Bosch), Bullit won because LT was still with old EP800 and I really wanted mullet over full 29" because of bike park riding, even that here at trails full 29" would be better :). Bullit Geo was also more towards what I wanted. ..and I got Bullit really cheap.
But 5000€ Pivot is steal and new one will be probably double that...

The new LT should be available to the public on the 22nd of October. I'm not so sure about the CX Gen 5, I don't know if that's 100% confirmed, but I did see the CX Race motor...

I've seen a couple of sweet deals on the Bullit, but the EP8 while it's ok, it's a bit of limiting factor.

I've receveid the same info about 22nd of Octomber but even with CX 5 it would be really expensive, maybe double the price.

Going back to CX 4 , even in race, it's not that appealing right now, since the 5 is out, as the previous Kiox display is just ugly and ridding without it's ok for Shimano as I can see some data on my Fenix watch but with Bosch only a few led indicators it's not the best solution to be honest. I'm keeping my analog bikes ( Pivot Firebird, Tues DH bike etc.) and want to improve my stamina with the Ebike if I can, and for this, having an overlook on the cadence is really helpfull.

Yeah, prices are skyrocketing. There's an option with Fox Neo, but it's really pricey. Regarding the CX 4 and Kiox, I believe you can mount the new Purion 400 display with the old system...

One thing is certain, any e-bike even released today, will become old tech in 6 months to a year. So the way I try to overcome this is buy getting one cheap so in case of resale I won't suffer that much :) . Hope it makes sense.

That's why wondering, in the curent market if the EP801 is still a decent motor that still have some life to it. Not planning to race this bike, just to boost my stamina and with the narrow shorter time on bike I get lately . To me it's no replacement for the DH bike in the parks and the Firebird is just a dream to ride in places like Finale Ligure.

I've done now 1300km on Bullit with EP801, pevious emtb was Levo. Mainly on trail mode which is dynamic mode and I just love it. Even that there's enough power to almost any sitution, there's still big difference to boost´'s power. Picture of setup below. I'm light and riding is trails and lift assisted parks so no big climbs. Only minor complaint is that if I'm coming back home from trails and would like to just cruise without effort on turbo, the cutoff at 25km/h is annoying, really harsh, much better on Levo and Bosch. You can adjust this on new firmware, I put it to middle and I didn't notice any change, have to test different variations when you can do it on app. So this is my opinion and experience with Shimano.

A friend tried to convince me to cancel the new Orbea Wild order and go for the new Shuttle LT. I'm glad I didn't listen to him. 😂
