If you're out in the open, it's surprising the difference a headwind makes !

Rode to and from Badminton last night. 30+kph wind.

To Badminton - into wind.

From Badminton - wind behind (stopped recording some of the ride through the garden on the way back hence the tiny differences in range/altitude)

Huge difference in speeds/time taken and calories.

Oh yeah .. it's pic of the day .. the dog was down wind (similar speeds) the day before and picked up overspray ...

You've either too much time on your hands , or you really need a good drink.

G4 is overated I've been told from a very very reliable source πŸ˜‰ . So be a G3 . I'm not convinced anything else is any better motor wise . Ebike will go forevermore if commuting or you weigh around 70 kg I believe.
G4 is really really nice on the motor front, but for day to day you won't notice any difference.

G3 is pretty top notch, so maybe 5% "improvement" bit that's down to semantics .

Potentially with main battery and range extender you have a CHUNK more, but hell, 700wh, you're pretty fecked !!!

I was told g4 be expensive. I had a great spin on gen 2 today and thought do I really need or want a new bike but , no pockets in a shroud .

Yes I'm 70 this year if I cycle 4 hours it takes me 7 if that makes sense. Two years warranty from a great dealer , try and hold me back. Tried Inverness dealer for Gen 3 can't get one.

I'd say a five mile section on the flat did about 30% of the battery on that ride, definitely noticeable.
I haven't looked. Which way ? Was already depleted from the bar run and wasn't full before that.

Interestingly, as I'm a bafang convert, the jam makes for far easier ( and faster) riding and with better efficiency, but it's on loan to a mate with osteoporosis. The Myth rides better though on the fun stuff.

My office was at the back of a chopper hangar, so I became pals with the guys. I was forever hopping on for free rides & the boys kindly gave my little girl a freebie burn around the place for her birthday. He wanted to let her fly it for a bit but her feet didn't reach the pedals. I never told her mum until she landed.
