Another grand day out along some very slippery trails and I even found some icy puddles.

If I rode with laces that long, 100% guaranteed that I would get one trapped in my chain ring. I have ripped trousers because I thought I'm not going far, it'll be fine. What is your secret? Are you bow-legged or something?

I use the Shiman AM41 that have the big fold over flap to cover the laces, brilliant solution to the problem, if a bit odd looking.

Today's destination was Almendrales, which is located just north of Malaga. It's a strange place because there are no rocks.

Haa no probs. Ya i was chatting with a cowtown buddeh. He said -30. They were on a night ride hike a bike in k country. Wind chill mustve been -50 at the top. He said traction was unreal with the snow froze to styrofoam

The first slightly rainy day. A good day to ride because of the excellent grip. Of course, the rocks were a bit slippery.

After freezing my balls off on Tuesday, I went out in more or less full snowboarding kit. Degre 7 pants. three base layers, skiing gloves, the lot. Sweating like Josef Fritzl on Grand Designs.

Went for a solo ride across the North Yorkshire Moors yesterday. Bitterly cold. 8 miles into the ride and in the middle of nowhere I realised I hadn’t charged my bike, doh! Got back in eco mode with 2% left, phew

After an extra hot summer we finally get some of the snow. Today I decided to snap a few pics (2 weeks after it fell). Temperature was low enough to freeze any wet snow so it was a bit crusty in spots.









I probably over dressed but it was still cold. Trying to avoid snow ruts was challenging so I sped up and pushed through the powder. About 2 hours of this was an arm workout.
