after a few days of searching for trails we like we found some down the bottom end near Peebles, The Fort, Dave’s Trail, and a steep bermy snakey descent right down to the bottom which I have no idea what it was called 😀
Probably loads in that area we will never know about. . It's 240 miles from me so only been four times maybe. think. Just worked it out 2014 the Commonwealth games were on at Glasgow when I was there. It was absolutely boiling.

Wow 240 miles, that’s a fair trek, you must be right up in the Highlands. Tweed Valley is less than 150 miles for me

Did you do Spooky Wood ?
My favourite trail……

Yes, probably 3 or 4 times. I enjoyed the initial drops and first few tables but after that it felt a bit blown out and loose, so didn’t quite trust the grip in the berms. Also I found the lower tables were quite hard work to get any air. I’m sure it was a great trail when in its prime, just needs some tlc

I did like Betty Blue at the end of Spooky Woods. An easy trail but a good one to get some speed & flow. Super G and the others after that were ok too, we were just on the search for the unmarked trails 😉

30*c today and the trails were quiet. Flashed up the air-con in the house …not used to this temperature.
What kinda car is this? Entrance to a trail called “BOT 2.0”. Burnt-Out Toyota …maybe?

This feature was built 2 years ago on a fairly popular trail. But it’s on private land. (Access and entrance is in the Provincial Park.

Then this happened a few days ago.

Big land owners are starting to push us out. Not sure who did this. However, there are lots of trails within the Provincial Park that need development and maintenance.

It must be a good few years since I last rode Glentress. (the last time was when the new trail centre first opened) Was at Inners last year with @The Hodge and rode Caddon Bank back down to the car park

We just rode the two trails at Inners on repeat a few times, Angry Sheep and Green Wing. Both fantastic snakey bermy trails. Relatively easy compared to the rest of Inners’ trails, but we didn’t go there to try and kill ourselves on a gnar-fest 😆👊🏼

The North Shore of Vancouver was once home to 10s of thousands of giant cedar, fir and even some pine trees. The trails I get to ride are littered with massive stumps measuring 10-15 feet across and with rusted out forestry equipment long left behind. Fortunately the trees are growing back. Its such a beautiful place to get to ride!

Squamish is similar but has a lot more rock slabs to test your nerve.
