Great, now she wants me to knock walls around & put a fireplace in
Aussie outback mid summer's a bit different to a European winter !
Don't clap by yourself or I'll throw you a fish.
You don't come across Seal's every day on a bike ride
LolTell us about the critter you're holding. If I was to see it in the Southwest U.S., I'd call it a Gila monster and give it space. They're the only venomous lizard on the continent. Since you're in Oz, I'm assuming that thing is poisonous. Everything you blokes have seems to be poisonous or deadly, especially your sheilas.
Is that the seal of approval ?.You don't come across Seal's every day on a bike ride

But I do see these on about a daily basis as there is a herd of around 40 of them that live in the hood. They are very shy though usually and never time to get the phone out for a shot. They must be getting used to me cause they didn't disappear into the woods with a crash like they usually do.

They sure do.Out here in the way western US they don't mess around with trees, they just mow them down with BA brush cutters
View attachment 80190 It's already pretty impressive how that machine mows down trees in such an orderly fashion.
Looks gorgeous - I reckon sunshine's overrated - casts shadows that confuse me as to where the line is heading. There is no way I could match the photographic endurance of @The Hodge or the gorgeous backgrounds of the Swiss Alps. But I could try to turn your stomach, throw you into a petite mal seizure or cause a self banning …accidental of course.
I’ve been riding the hardtail lately because the Rail is being serviced with some upgrades. My wife has been busy with this pandemic thingy so she can’t get out as often as she’d like. Therefore I took a few hours to drain the battery on her PowerFly 5.
This was only a 25km ride and I stayed in the lower area of our mountain. It was foggy with a slight mist and any human activity was very rare (2souls). Here are some entrances to the lower trails.
