And I'd bet that like most things that swim, slither, slide or scuttle about in Australia, it will be deadly poisonous.
No, they will try and bite you but pretty much harmless. It’s the legless ones, snakes, that are a worry as you come up on them fast on the bike and your not making much noise compared to a dirt bike, I carry a snake bandage with me in the warmer months just in case
