Despite how the canal looks here, the Valley Forge trails were super dry and dusty today. Took a friend around some (he’s got a Powerfly hardtail) and we managed to get some riding in between the coughing fits.

But, I have been past twice by a kid (18ish) on one of these.
He was too fast to snap a pic. I met him in a coffee shop a few months later. I don’t think he cares how difficult the trail is.

Ending the ride on the beach is always fun 
Changed the stock 165mm cranks to 175mm, helpful in getting the torque out of the EP8 with my long legs

Sitting in the garden having a nice quiet Old Mout Kiwi & Lime Cider ..when two of these things came trundling over ..the first one was so close ( not in pic ) that we had a conversation with the pilot..

An absolute cracker of a day today.
Usual trails, but in unusual riding conditions . It was sunny, warm, dry and dusty and just astonishingly good fun riding trails that just last week were still mostly damp and muddy.
First ride with a new ( to me) DPX2 shock which replaced the stock DPS. There is a noticeable improvement I think.
A truly grand day out ( no coffee or buns as our son was treating us to our dinner at a rather nice restaurant)
