Yeah sure you do!!I always carry a hefty stick for such occasions and have become quite adept at throwing it at their front wheel ..
Some of that terrain looks exactly like the stuff I used to ride in Central Australia, if I didn't know any different I would've thought it was my old riding grounds.First-ever race this weekend. TommyKnocker10 in the Gila National Forest, just outside Silver City, NM, USA.
We came in last in our division (women’s team of 3-4), of course. But it was fun. And mind-boggling that some folks were able to complete 10 laps of the 13-mile race loop within the 10 hours of the race.
It was dry and dusty on race day (Saturday). But a friend and I got up this morning and rode the course again. This time taking a leisurely pace with stops for admiring the vistas and lots of pics. The big tree is the 2nd largest Alligator Juniper in the US.

Warthog A10 flyby and a Crested Saquaro....
Here'Dude! Warthogs are cool and all... but a "crested saguaro?"
I've never even heard of such a thing.
Clearly, I need to spend more time in your desert.
That does remind me of Al Harrington's wacky, waving inflatable arm-flailing tubeman emporium and warehouse. Here' View attachment 85408 s another...

@Zed very kindly offered to show me around, but he seems to have gone to ground. I hope he sees this post.Hey Steve, so you made it to Bris Vegas. Hope you can find some trails that aren't closed due to rain damage. Giving me the absolute $hits ...so many trails closed because there's a rut. Nanny state here.
