Performance Line CX gen. 4 spare motor ?

Looking to buy a spare motor for my bike (Bosch performance Line CX gen.4)
Seems to be difficult to get my hands on one.
Anybody an idea how to get one, or maybe a slightly used one ?

I could be wrong but Bosch don’t sell these motors to the public, they’ll warranty one through a dealer if you have the original purchase receipt. You may be able to get hold of a damaged bike (beyond repair) and take one from that, but that will be a rare thing too. Good luck and post back if you get one.

Just bought one through ebay, looked new on the foto, even the sealing grease was still on it.
Hope i did the right thing, it was not cheap.......

How was the motor from eBay, I'm in the same frame of mind, if I can get a good price on one

Keep also in mind when you buy a bosch motor from a third party seller, it may first need to be configured (programmed) for your specific bike by a bosch dealer/LBS. This can be done remotely or via USB using your bike's original container file (CCF) provided by the bike manufacturer.
