I have DMR V8's on mine which are pretty budget, definitely not the best but so far they have been fine.
What are the advantages of more expensive pedals apart from weight and being able to service them yourself?
I have DMR V8s and Burgtec’s MK IV. The Burg’s are damn good quality and very ‘grippy’ on normal walking boots but they have quite a lot of resistance and inefficiency compared to DMR V8s and V12s. Burgtec are a nice company and very helpful though.
Also, my MK IV’s are way lighter than my old V8s and servicing is a doddle!
Xpedo Sprye with grippy 5/10 shoes. One of the thinnest pedals to avoid the frequent, annoying pedal strikes. Had DMR vaults before these and those pins are lethal.
These pins are toned down but I still never lose the pedal even in the worst rock gardens.
$69, can't beat that. Read the review of them and apparently they are well designed and easily serviced.
