Oval chainring on emtb.

Hy on my normal bike i use oval chainring from absolute black.
Now i have to replace my drive train and want to use an oval in front fore the same pedaling feel.
Is there somebody with some experience ?

Pointless on an ebike.

Because the chain ring rotates faster than the cranks most of the time.

The cranks on an ebike aren't connected directly to the chainring, the oval chainring would rarely be in the optimal position.

To be honest, it's only something I've learnt on this forum...

Yep there is a freewheel in the cranck.
I have to get a normal chainring instead of oval.
Case closed ?
