Orbea rise rattle from motor

Had my first ride tonight on my orbea rise m20 and was blown away how well the bike corners and Manoeuvres over jumps .
the Only Negative thing with the bike is the rattle from the motor went freewheeling has anybody else got this noise with their bike

Every bike based on an EP8 suffers to some degree but I can't hear my wife's over the whirring of my E8000! ?

Exactly correct. Every single one will rattle when coasting over rough terrain. Don't worry about it. just ride it and have fun.

I got used to the ep8 rattle, not a problem anymore. Not that far from the typical internal cable rattle on maaaaany bikes.

Never noticed it to be honest, likely its there as everyone says it is but i guess i just don't hear it

Really you don’t really notice it , it’s quite annoying noise a bit like chain slap noise. I wonder if anything can be done to quieten it down?

No there’s not - that’s how the ep8 is built

my experience is that it makes you ride faster - it sounds like someone is right on your tail on rough ground!

No worse than chain slap we all put up with years ago , don't really notice it anymore

I just got the Rise M10 and noticed a lot of rattle too. I did a search, which brought me here. I guess it’s normal. And I thought the noise on my Niner rip-e9 Bosch was bad. I’ll ignore it!

I have a lot of rattle but it seems high up in the down tube. Does the motor rattle travel and make it hard to pin point or am I having cable rattle?

Can’t hear any rattle due to my loud hub! Acros hubs make pro4 sound quiet ?
