I have run 2.6 in 27.5 flavour but don’t know why you would want to as 29er on rear

On my wife's m20 rise, I am running a 29x2.6 DHRII in front and a 29x2.6 Rekon in back. The fit on the rekon in back is very tight and anything bigger then that tire would absolutely not fit.

2.6 front, 2.4 rear
Bought new tyre and they only had a 2.6 in stock so swapped the front to the rear and put new on front.
Fits fine but mudguard only just fits and sometimes rubs on rowdier descents.
Is it time for us in the UK to remove said winter products as it's rained more in May and the whole of April.....
