Orbea Rise Hydro series reliability?

Hey folks,

I posted previously between buying either a Orbea Rise h20 for £2700 or the Trek Fuel ExE at £3300, after many youtube videos watched and forum posts read i think i'm decided on thw Orbea, from a value standpoint alone it's the clear choice (?) and as an ebike it appears to preform a lot better/range/power.

However a lot of the threads i've delved mention issues with the rear linkages, cracks in the frame, cable rattle and other issues. How prominent or common are these faults, is it simply over reporting due to the popularity of the Orbea Rise? It's the only issues that's really dissuaded me from making the final purchase .

Are there any positive Orbea Rise owner experiences?

My 2022 H30 has been good apart from the weak rear hub which I had to replace. It's a nice, fairly lightweight trail bike and I now have the EP8 settings on it (500W, 85nm) which makes it great for the steep terrain I ride on. I'm a 70kg rider and I don't jump the bike.
For heavier riders pushing the bike hard there might be better choices.

These can and do happen yes... Same as with most/all other bikes, especially Ebikes.
I've got a Rise and it's perfect and lovely... (it is up for sale though as i'm not using it and want a DH bike, see Pinkbike lol).

I borrowed a mates for a few months and he had a couple of linkage creaks but we soon resolved that..

As always, most 'issues' are actually day to day upkeep of a bike. NO bike will be 100% perfect if you ride through slop and throw straight in the garage and abandon it.

I've done 3,000km trouble free in 2 yrs on my H15.

The rear hub problem was down to a batch of sub-standard hubs used when they had supply problems with the standard one.

The frame crack seems to have affected a small number of bikes, but the lifetime guarantee sorts that out. It's not an euro bike so I wonder how much abuse some people subject their bikes to . .

We have at home 2 Rise H10 2023 (1,200 and 1,700 km so far). Only issue so far is the famous creaking linkage that will be replaced under warranty.
