Orbea - Expected Delivery ;-)

Seen Robs video on the Orbea... and thought the bike looked rather good.

Off I went to Orbeas site and.....

Exepected delivery Feb 2023 ... Wow.

Imagine in the future when your 2021 bikes arrives in 2023. It will be so out of date, especially how everything seems to be moving on so fast with motor/battery technology and bikes getting lighter.

Look at my new bike....no its not it is two years old ;-(. Whilst the rest of your ride group fly off on thier Hover Bikes not unlike scenes from Return of the Jedi.

Who would order something that would take so long to deliver ? Just curious.

Am I missing something ?

I do like the Rise in red though

Well, you are quite far from Earth!!

But for sooner delivery you are better off looking round Orbea dealers - they seem to get prioritized since they have pre-orders etc. Mostly for the default colors, but some do offer the custom paint too.

I rang Orbea and asked when the delivery was to be expected and the date was confirmed as 23 February 2023.

I asked if it was going to be morning or an afternoon delivery ?

They enquired, does it matter ?

I said, I need to know because I got a plumber booked for the morning!
