Has anyone added the external battery yet?
I'm in the same boat as yourself. I'm taking delivery of mine next week and I'm keen on buying the additional battery. It comes in 300w, 400w and 500w, so I'm keen to try a ride with the additional battery and without and see how it affects the ride. Obviously cost is a factor, but would love to remove the "battery anxiety" of big rides with 1,125w of battery. ?Has anyone added the external battery yet?
So you can have the attachments for the external battery permanently fitted but still ride with just the 625wh internal battery?I'm in the same boat as yourself. Not that 625w isn't a lot to begin with but I decided to add the attachments for the second battery just in case it was a future consideration.
P.S. the LBS said it IS something that you can add at a later date.
Cheers
You can have them off altogether and just use the blanking plates and then get the terminals fitted if and when you decided to have a second battery. So you can have the attachments for the external battery permanently fitted but still ride with just the 625wh internal battery?
Does the attachment have some sort of protective cover on the terminals then?
My LBS were very vague and didn’t seem to know the answers.
