I’ve now had my E150 RS for a year now and I’m well pleased with the bike and how it performs. I like the Lyric fork and it’s performance, the rear shock I’m happy with coupled with the suspension geometry never seems dead or wallowing. I’m no super gravity double black run sort of rider but the bike handles great on all the stuff I ride. I’ve changed the bars to RaceFace Next R and I run Uberbike brake pads, High Roller II’s DD casings front and back that’s all that’s different from standard.
The bike has been software changed to 85 Nm torque and is noticeable on technical climbs and the motor run on is a great addition.
Ive had warranty issues with hub bearings which were prolonged by not as good service as I’d expected from a Whyte dealer, but once Whyte themselves were involved the issue was soon resolved
Whyte customer service is second to none……so apart from cable routing aesthetics (which in all honesty could have and should have been sorted prior to release)
I’m a happy chappy
The great thing about owing your first Ebike is learning new riding techniques on how to get the best out of the motor characteristics and performance in all riding conditions.
All in all a great purchase.
