Hi,

is there a brand of cassette in the market that has a solid inner? i.e. the inside of the cassette has one piece guides that look exactly like the free hub. I think this design would stop the damage to the free hub like in attached picture.

thanks

Looks like the spline is only 10-15mm, are there any that have the spline the full width of the cassette?

Sram doesn't use a splined system like Shimano does. With Sram all the cogs are attached to a spider which then threads onto the freehub . Good system but as @maynard says cassettes are expensive. You can get a steel Shimano HG freehub as a direct replacement for the alloy one in your photo, that the cassette won't bite into. That's your best and cheapest option.

Will the shimano free hub work with the sram cassette? Thanks

Only if you're using cheaper Sram NX cassette, which uses the Shimano HG freehub. Sram GX and up uses the Sram XD freehub as pictured in your 2nd photo. Splines vs threaded. Different system. No need to change your cassette though,
just change your freehub from alloy to a steel one
