I always hoped that somewhere really busy would protect our bikes, but it appears not to be the case as the vid in this article demonstrates.

At least his identity is not totally obscured, but as still no arrests by the time they get around to it the bike will be long split up with no chance of recovery.
Also looks to be at least 3 scumbags involved in this.
In other DM news, they report on Worcestershire police sending 6 officers to violently arrest a terminally ill retired university lecturer for mooning a speed camera. But three scumbag thieves with a very loud and visible angle grinder, in the heart of London, known for its multiple cctv and thousands of police ready to race to any report of a motorist not having insurance arent available to get to this crime

Bike thief cuts through lock of £3k electric bike at shopping centre
The thief was seen using the battery-powered tool on the bike outside Surrey Quays shopping centre in Rotherhithe, south east London, at around 1.30pm on Saturday.
